1What is Jerry Self-Storage?
It’s a private room at a Jerry centre for your stock, equipment, files, or anything that’s outgrown your office or home. You pay monthly, with no warehouse lease.
2Can I use it for my business?
Absolutely. Online sellers keep inventory and packaging here, small businesses store equipment and archives, and event teams park their booths and banners between jobs. You’re welcome to sort and pack inside your room as long as it’s safe and doesn’t disturb anyone. The room is meant for storage rather than as an office, so if you need a proper desk, you can book one in the same building.
3How much does it cost?
From RM660/month. The rate depends on the centre and the room size, which ranges from 30 to 150 sq ft. WhatsApp us for an exact quote.
4Can I get an invoice for company claims?
Yes. We issue official invoices under Colony Space Sentral Sdn Bhd.
5How do I get in, and can my team use it?
Every room has its own PIN. You get the code when you book, and you can share it with anyone on your team who needs access.
6When can I access my room?
24/7 at every centre except Petaling Street, which is open 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Move-ins follow the same hours.
7Is my stuff safe?
Your room has its own PIN lock, separate from the centre’s main entry, so only people with your code can get in. There’s CCTV at our centres. Other members may walk through the shared areas, but they can’t get into your room.
8Is my stock insured?
No, belongings aren’t covered by us. If you’re storing anything valuable, we recommend arranging your own insurance.
9Is the room air-conditioned?
The rooms are inside air-conditioned centres, but there’s no dedicated dehumidifier. If you’re storing paper, fabric, leather, cosmetics or electronics, airtight boxes and a few silica gel packs will help keep moisture out.
10Can I receive deliveries or courier pickups?
Yes, you can arrange both at the centre, but someone from your side needs to be there to receive or hand over the parcels. We can’t accept or hold parcels for you.
11What can I store?
Inventory, packaging, equipment, documents, furniture and personal belongings, so pretty much anything legal. We don’t allow anything hazardous, flammable or explosive, perishables, or anything that could cause hygiene or safety issues. (Yes, that includes durian.) If you’re not sure about something, ask us first.
